Custom-built by LP Warren Homes, this exclusive project combines diverse materials and depths to create a stunning aesthetic. The home boasts a functional contemporary floor plan and a colour palette that sits beautifully within the home’s surroundings. Carefully selected earthy tones complement the bushland surrounds of the home, and the striking façade reflects the natural beauty of its setting. The design utilises the fall of the land and maximises the stunning views from the block. Spacious and open, the home invites sunshine, making it a warm and relaxing retreat. LP Warren Homes created the home with functional family living in mind. It features an expanded outdoor entertainment area, open-plan lounge and meals, and generously-sized bedrooms. The first-floor kitchen and meals area is equipped with Miele appliances and leads directly on to a large, light-filled balcony that takes advantage of the picturesque bushland views, while the ground-floor zoning includes secondary bedrooms, a games room, and theatre room.

Style and practicality were important considerations in the design process. The clients’ brief was to build a contemporary home with high quality detail and finishes while keeping within budget. Opening to a stunning Victorian ash open-tread staircase with frameless glass balustrading, the home immediately makes a statement. Attention to detail is demonstrated further in the media room, where LED lighting has been used to create an exceptional star-lit ceiling. Theatre-themed walls and furniture give the room a touch of classic Hollywood style. The home makes full use of the block, with the north-facing orientation maximising the available light. A combinationof balanced  material selections adds to the striking streetscape appeal of the home. External alucabond panelling and Austral Latrobe façade brick provide a professional finish and reflect the contemporary design intent. In addition to its impressive aesthetic appeal, the home incorporates a range of environmentally-friendly features. These include a 2000-litre water tank connected to all toilets and external taps, water-saving devices in all the tapware, and Low-E tinted grey glass in all windows. The home’s solar orientation also boosts the intake of natural light and cross-flow ventilation.
