This ultra-modern custom-designed home is set on a stunning block in Plenty with spectacular cityscape views. The home has been designed to fit comfortably on an acre block, maximising the beautiful bushland setting and scenery.

The grand design includes five large bedrooms, all with en suites, as well as two study rooms, an indoor and outdoor gymnasium, luxury kitchen, a sunken living room, feature void, and an open family and dining area that continues onto a spacious alfresco area and entertaining/pool complex. Thoughtful design, executed beautifully with quality fittings and fixtures, makes for a luxury resort-style home that’s sure to impress.

LP Warren Homes’ in-house design department staff were the principal designers engaged in this project. Working with the clients’ wishes, the designers pulled together a contemporary, family-friendly showpiece home. It is practical with a modern floor plan and eye-catching façade. The design utilises the fall across the land and takes advantage of the views. The home was also designed to make full use of the block, taking into consideration the best possible orientation of the home’s site to maximise natural daylight.

Style and functionality were equally important considerations in the design process. The brief was to build a modern home that achieved high-quality detail and finishes within the budget. These features are best demonstrated in the façade, polished-concrete open-tread staircase with feature steel balustrading, luxury finishes inside and out, and the carefully selected fixtures and fittings.

Other key features of this home include a detached entertainment and gym room with direct access to the feature pool, as well as the void from the ground floor to the open rumpus room on the first floor, which captures a continuous view on both levels. The design allows for current and future family requirements, balancing detached areas with spaces where the family can connect and interact throughout the day.

The home design also incorporates environmentally friendly features, including a 2000L water tank connected to all toilets and external taps, double-glazed windows and external louvres. A minimum 6-star energy rating compliance has been achieved, and ample light and cross-flow ventilation create a cosy home in winter and a light and airy home in the warmer months.

For this project, LP Warren Homes worked with the clients to design a unique split-level home set in picturesque Eltham on a sloping block. The design maximises the area of the block and complements the bushland surroundings by integrating indoor/outdoor living and alfresco features. The generous floor plan includes four bedrooms, two with adjoining en suites, a pavilion by the pool, mezzanine gym and elevated lounge.

LP Warren Homes has captured a modern architectural style with the use of accentuated lines and intricate detail throughout the home. The high ceilings and elevated spaces within the home, along with the luxury fittings, give it a sense of opulence. A mixture of rendered cladding, spotted-gum shiplap cladding and COLORBOND® roof sheeting has been incorporated within the façade design to add to the home’s street appeal.

The build of the home took approximately nine months from excavation to completion. There were significant site works involved in the foundation stages to create the home’s platform. The shifting and manoeuvring of building materials around the site proved challenging, as materials had to be moved in with a crane. It was a great pleasure for the team at LP Warren Homes to tackle these challenges and deliver a home of such a high standard and level of detail.
