Roseleigh Homes Project 1

This display home by Roseleigh Homes has a dramatic street presence due to its detailed, periodstyle aesthetic. Taking inspiration from homes built 100 years ago, The Ashton combines old-school glamour with modern-day trimmings.

To achieve classic and elegant visual appeal, Roseleigh Homes focused on the quality of construction and period-specific detailing. The façade includes a steep roof pitch, while the rear has a standard ceiling height.

The craftsmanship of the kitchen is immediately impressive. A large Caesarstone-topped island bench and a deluxe butler’s pantry make the space a chef’s delight. The open living area is undoubtedly the heart of the home, where family and friends can come together to socialise and relax. Two additional living spaces provide privacy when required. Achieving a six-star energy rating, The Ashton displays an unmatched level of efficiency, luxury and practicality.

Another Roseleigh Homes winner, The Sienna, was designed as a contemporary home with a focus on achieving high thermal performance while maintaining a minimum energy rating of eight stars. This was achieved through facing 78 per cent of the total floor area toward a northern exposure and using double-glazed glass throughout.

Four-metre ceilings on the north side of the building quickly descend to a standard ceiling height, which creates a striking and unique visual effect while minimising the need for heating and cooling. During the warmer months, remote-controlled blinds limit the amount of solar heat that enters the home.

In recognition of its innovative design and eight-star energy rating, The Sienna was awarded Best Sustainable Home and Best Display Home $350,000–$500,000 at the 2016 Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV) Regional Building Awards. With the option of adding a door to the hallway, the home’s energy rating can be as high as 8.5.

Roseleigh Homes is at the forefront of delivering unique, customised homes, while remaining competitive on price. The company prides itself on being upfront and honest with its clients, so you will never be the victim of any hidden costs. In 2017, Roseleigh Homes was awarded the Best Custom Home $300,000–$400,000 and Best Custom Home $500,000–$600,000 awards. With more than 25 years of experience building, it’s easy to see why!
