A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

Expertly blending rustic brickwork, contemporary white surfaces and soft oak, Norton Builders has created a home that will effortlessly withstand the everchanging trending tides. This bespoke build boasts dynamic textures and exquisite features such as the cantilevered balcony, the curved oak wall battening and exposed brick that offers undeniable visual interest.

Despite the challenging landscape and block size, Norton Builders has maximised on spaciousness. The large, double-glazed windows are not only eco-friendly, but they allow natural light to infiltrate every room of this house, including the open-plan living area and generous kitchen which leads onto an alfresco dining area.

White stone surfaces dominate the kitchen, reflecting the light from the elongated counter widows to make the area naturally bright. The v-groove oak cabinetry adds natural colour and warmth, softens the hard edges of the countertops, and ties the kitchen in with the rest of the house. Black appliances, tapware, window frames and light fittings are highlighted in this otherwise bright space and help create a stylish, inviting kitchen.

A large bathroom adds to the aesthetic of the house, maintaining practicality with floor-to-ceiling premium Italian tiles and utilising the available space with its wet room design. The brushed nickel tapware adds a reflective spark to the room and complements the grey of the tiles.

An interesting quirk of this build is the space that has currently been purposed as a bar room. Similar to the kitchen, in has a white stone countertop and oak cabinetry, but also includes a bar fridge and display shelving that is lit up with a strip of lights. In fitting with the room, a repurposed wine barrel makes an eye-catching statement piece and adds to ambience of the space.

This spectacular build is one of Norton Builders finest, and the flowy atmosphere of the house and permeating bright light makes the interior feel like a breath of fresh air with all the domesticity and functionality of a family home.
