With an exclusive high-wall system, Harkaway Homes can achieve old-fashioned exterior height without the impracticalities of overly high ceilings. You can choose a ceiling height of a 2.7m or 3m to comfortably accommodate ornate cornices and ceiling rosettes.

Another important part of reproducing a traditional Australian home is the verandah. Harkaway Homes’ exclusive high-wall system allows verandahs to be positioned comfortably next to the home. Correct falls and profiles are easily achieved and your home will have instant character, without sacrificing natural light. Harkaway Homes’ verandahs come in many shapes and sizes, and are a great way to customise your new home.

Harkaway Homes can build under the project-managed method – wherein the project is registered as an owner-builder and all the work is performed by subcontractors – or the team can engage a licensed builder. The majority of clients choose the project-managed option, which the company greatly encourages to maximise savings while maintaining a high-quality finish.
