Third Element Studio Project 2

Thoughtfully designed and impeccably finished, the Nepean810 townhouse design by Third Element is a testament to what can be achieved using clever design principles on a smaller site. This property is the rear home of a two-unit block, with an existing dwelling and common driveway that had to be observed in the design. Third Element Studio masterfully positioned the spacious living areas of this home away from the existing dwelling to create the sense of a private sanctuary which maximised the availability of natural light. 

This design is contemporary and modern yet still provides a sense of homeliness and welcome. Stark whites contrasting deep blacks throughout the home feel clean and crisp, while oak floorboards and stairs add warmth and character. The home is designed to make each space feel as large as possible, with an open-plan living arrangement and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that ensure that the area is light-filled and flows effortlessly. 

The main bathroom is well-proportioned and luxurious, boasting a generous, free-standing bathtub and double-vanity sink, making it feel like an at-home spa. Cream tiles pair with bright, white porcelain to brighten the room, while a black feature wall in the shower adds depth and a contemporary aesthetic that makes the rest of the home. This project was completed by build partner Dema Constructions with sustainable design and build principles considered throughout resulting in a highly efficient and effective home.
