BUILDING EXTRAVAGANCE

Several years ago, a client approached Grollo Homes to restore the grandeur of this original manor house. With a rich history dating back to the 1800s, the property demanded a new home that honoured its heritage. The new design and renovation embody the essence of French Provincial architecture. The expansive spaces throughout the home, from the large-scale kitchen, spacious hallways, and lavish bathrooms all exude elaborate charm.

The brief was meticulously fulfilled through close collaboration with the owners, including multiple site visits to research the area’s history, assess view lines, sun orientation, wind directions and property contours. Most of the dwelling has been constructed using brick, stone, glass, and terracotta tiles. A simple material palette was selected to complement rather than overshadow the classic geometric lines of both the façade and interior. This finished project embodies majestic elements to be enjoyed by a family that appreciates the finer things in life.
