For this project, the homeowners approached Sabo Design to transform their backyard into an entertainer’s dream. This was achieved by including modern dining area and a separate relaxation zone, which showcases a rustic L-shaped bench and an in-built fire pit.

The materials were carefully chosen by the company’s owner Lily Sabo to seamlessly blend with the home’s provincial architecture. The design was then brought to life by Matt Butterworth from Butterworth Landscapes. Following the edge of the tennis court, 300mm x 600mm granite pavers from Rock & Stone create a path to the relaxation area. Three various-sized granite spheres were positioned at the end of the path for modern visual appeal.

The ModBOX raised planter boxes provide added warmth to the area, and complement the custom-made benches that feature Rock & Stone’s Aspen walling.

An innovative Dome outdoor heat lamp from Rock & Stone ensures the homeowners can enjoy the space in the cooler months, while the elegant dining table setting provides plenty of room to entertain large groups.
