Qualified carpenter and experienced builder Scott Davies established SD Davies Builders in 1991. The business also constructs basements and pools, and works throughout East and South Melbourne.
Undertaking about eight large additions and approximately three pool builds annually, SD Davies has won several major awards since 2002, including Best Heritage Restoration (2002 and 2003), nominations for Best Heritage Restoration in 2004 and 2007, and a high commendation for Best Heritage Restoration in 2006.
The business also received a HIA–CSR award in 2011 for Business Partner of the Year and was runner-up for Best Renovation and Addition $600,000–$1 million, as well as being a finalist for a Customer Service Award.
