Waterson Build Project 3
Waterson Build collaborated with the homeowners to create this light and airy coastal-inspired Hamptons home. This quality build takes proper advantage of the available space, maximising the entire block to accommodate the homeowners.
Soft grey James Hardie Linea weatherboards and a wrap-around pergola form an inviting façade, offering hints of the character and charm held within. At the heart of the home is the open-plan living area, accessible through the custommade barn door. Here the homeowners can enjoy an integrated lifestyle, preparing food in the expansive kitchen; sharing mealtimes in the spacious dining room; and relaxing around the limestone statement fireplace in the comfortable yet stylish lounge room. The blackbutt feature-grade flooring contrasts warmly against the Haymes ‘Dieskau’ walls and white-lined vaulted ceiling, which bolsters the sense of openness.
Two wide glass sliding doors let in the ocean breeze from Koonya Beach, which is just down the road. They also establish a seamless flow between the living area and the back deck, replete with additional undercover dining. The deck steps down to a lush grassy area and a fully tiled solar-heated swimming pool.
Amenities are at no shortage with three bathrooms and one powder room, each individually tiled with a classy black herringbone feature wall. Stone vessel basins mounted on smooth floating benches create dimension, while the Highgrove bathtub in the en suite adds an extra luxurious touch.
