This stunning project by BFN Developments and Valley Windows is defined by its expansive living spaces and meticulous handcrafted elements. The custom-made timber windows and doors, combined with the breathtaking stonework and bespoke reclaimed timber flooring, create a home of unparalleled quality and grandeur. Adding to its unique stature, the residence also boasts one of Australia’s largest off-grid systems and extensive Spotted Gum decking.

This project stemmed from a deep, longstanding relationship between Valley Windows Director Peter Garth and Brett from BFN Developments. From the outset, the teams collaborated closely, with Brett envisioning Valley Windows’ custom timber windows as a cornerstone for the home, seeking enduring quality and a beautiful aesthetic. Every window and door was custom-made, ensuring precise fit and performance to suit the unique specifications of this bespoke residence, delivering the highest standards of craftsmanship.

The home boasts approximately 550m² of generous, open-plan living space. The large format timber windows are strategically positioned to the north, maximising natural light and passive solar gain for the living areas throughout the day. These elements frame the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding property and cattle farm, seamlessly connecting the indoors with the idyllic rural setting.

Robust hardwood timber frames were selected, known for their energy efficiency. To enhance their beauty and durability, the teams opted for a premium three-part finishing system applied by external specialists. The project also showcases over 400m² of stunning natural stonework, bespoke hand-crafted reclaimed timber flooring, and an expansive Spotted Gum deck specially sourced from Queensland, all contributing to a rich palette of natural, enduring materials.
