This recent project from the team at Rosella Homes fuses mid-century charm with high-end, modern finishes to create a supremely satisfying balance of old and new. The client’s brief requested a warm, contemporary home defined by a sense of luxury. The result is a timeless space that delivers on every front. The exterior presents strikingly black cladding paired with recycled red bricks, while the inside showcases high raked ceilings, oak-engineered flooring and floor-to-ceiling Italian tiles – elevating the light and space within.

The split-level layout optimises the sloping block, creating functional zones and enhancing the home’s flow. Natural light floods the living areas through expansive windows, diminishing the need for artificial lighting and highlighting sustainable features like the recycled materials. Central design elements include brushed gold tapware, light-toned kitchen finishes and thoughtfully placed ceiling heights – all blending to craft a sense of openness and expansion. Ultimately, the team achieved a flawless result – a home that is more than a visual statement; it is a structure built to last.
