NATURAL EXPANSES

Alongside architect Hugh Feggans, Oceanic Design and Build has produced this incredible example of a refined yet comfortable family home. With expansive grounds to work with, the single-level home was able to spread out across the site to create a large, open home. The resulting house is big enough for the whole family to have their own space, including the addition of a standalone studio. Each of the spaces within the home feel intimate and create a comfortable environment for the family to relax.

Refined finishes and a fully clad timber roof with concealed gutters give the exterior of this gorgeous home the feel of a sophisticated beach cabin. The exposed steel beams and timber cladding add to the relaxed atmosphere this home exudes. The tranquillity continues to the interior of the home, with textured rendered walls and large windows adorned with flowing window coverings that create an earthy and inviting environment, bringing the gorgeous Flinders surrounds to the inside.
