NPR Building Concepts Project 1
Previously sporting a tired and rundown façade, this Mont Albert home is now the embodiment of kerb appeal, and harmonises classical comfort, with a modern colour palette. Its striking weatherboard and brick exterior is contrasted by the beautiful blue door that greets guests. Stepping across the home’s threshold, NPR Building Concepts’ innate understanding of design and construction is continued through to the interior too, creating a refined and cohesive finished product.
Primarily tasked with restoring the kitchen and bathrooms, NPR Building Concepts expertly navigated the demolition of a wall, creating a free-flowing and spacious environment, while still retaining the gorgeous original fireplaces. No longer constrained by restrictive rooms, ample light floods the living area, which is amplified by the use of light tones throughout the space. The kitchen has been equipped with the latest in-built appliances and a stylish mirrored splashback has been used to reflect more of the room’s beautiful joinery and sleek white countertops.
Moving through to the bathroom, the same white countertops and cabinetry have been incorporated for cohesion throughout the home. Grey tiles on the floor continue up the walls in the walk-in shower and add a welcome contrast to the white hues, while white patterned tiles add a smart textural element to elevate the room’s aesthetic.
