RESTRUCTURED, REDESIGNED & REVIVED

Taking inspiration from the serene coastline, this detail driven renovation by Millwood Building & Design is miles ahead of the curve. Without cutting into the second storey, the ground floor changed in height, space and comfort – perfectly tailored to the needs of the homeowners and the constraints set out by council and body corporate.

The upper-level renovation included an added bedroom, bathroom, walk-in-robe, secondary lounge and expansive balcony.

Millwood Building & Design, along with a team of engineers and architects, had to get creative and re-engineer the entire build to achieve the refined, custom result. The home was transformed into a modern masterpiece, even with the height restrictions set out by body corporate and the local council.

Adding to the modern features, the build is an all-electric smart home. With an emphasis on spacious, open living the coastal home uses concealed internal steel, cleverly reducing wasted space in floors and ceilings. The tall windows now bask the entire space in sunlight, while the Engineered Timber Flooring adds character and chic style to the refined, modern home Built to withstand the harsh seaside conditions, the coastal home uses James Hardie cladding on the exterior to ensure a high quality, durable and stylish finish.
