Built to accommodate for homeowners in their twilight years, Inline Construction Group ensured the entire abode was step-free – thus negating falls – while delivering a space of high insulation, low energy consumption, and a mechanical ventilation system to ensure ultimate warmth and comfort. A mix of warm and grey spotted gum timber cladding covers the sides of the house, harmonising its exterior with the warm tones found in its outdoor surroundings.

Adding a modern aesthetic, the top and front of the home are clad in corrugated iron, which disguises the solar panels on the roof, a choice in consonance with Inline Construction Group’s eco-friendly focus. A water feature at the entrance welcomes guests into an expansive open-plan living and kitchen area. This space is the heart of the home, with expansive windows and glass doors that overlook the greenery of the land and soak the living room in sunlight. Beautiful warm blackbutt timber floors and high ceilings make this area feel like the height of luxurious living.

Large windows with treetop views are present throughout the property and particularly make a statement in the kitchen, surrounding the large bench space and counters – the island with built-in bar seating – and acting as a backdrop of artwork in the space.

Featuring a double basin and mirrors, the bathroom brings the outdoor aesthetic indoors, with grey- and earth-toned tiles and wooden vanity that sit in contrast to the pale aqua colour scheme of the walls. This theme continues throughout the home, making a statement against the bedroom’s large front-facing and high-performance windows, which drench the room in sunshine.
