CONTEMPORARY MEETS HERITAGE

The team at Elona Constructions turned this late 19th century farmhouse into a luxurious home that cohesively blends charming character with modern design elements. The weatherboard façade of the home is updated, with dark cladding and wood complementing the home’s exterior.

Upon entry, you are welcomed with a wooden feature wall, which hides the guest bathroom in plain sight. With functionality and visual flow at the core of the home, the hidden bathroom door is integrated within the wall, as to not disrupt the flow of the space. The effortless blend of old and new continues inside the home, with the modern interior accented by heritage design elements.

Classic design features including the two fireplaces seen in both the main bathroom and the living area, along with the champagne toned tapware throughout the home, crafts the atmosphere of the space, juxtaposing the contemporary marble benchtop and undercabinet lighting in the kitchen. The home uses this contrast in design to its advantage, creating unique visuals throughout the space.
