A REVOLUTIONARY DESIGN

Drake Design has once again raised the standard in contemporary architecture with the creation of three masterfully designed townhouses. Embracing the essence of modern city living, these proposed developments blend luxury, natural light and intelligent functionality within spacious, thoughtfully arranged layouts.

Tasked with designing three townhouses on a single lot – requiring demolition of the existing dwelling – the brief demanded a solution that maximised site potential, promoted low-maintenance living and appealed to modern buyers. The team expertly addressed orientation, privacy, street presence and council planning requirements to deliver a truly inspiring proposal. The result was three double-story homes that offer private open spaces, distinct living zones and visual street impact while maintaining neighbour privacy.

Sustainability played a key role, including on-site stormwater detention, efficient irrigation-ready landscaping and sanitary fixture connections. Rooftop solar panels are also discreetly integrated into the main canopy, supporting energy efficiency without compromising aesthetics, while strategic cross-flow ventilation and optimal solar access ensure cool, breezy interiors during summer.
