DB Design relishes a challenge, and there was plenty to challenge the team in attempting to design a luxurious beach retreat on only 368 square metres. Add in a restriction on the maximum building height and you’ve got the ultimate beach house design challenge. The team had to pull out all the stops to meet the brief of designing a stylish modern beach home that incorporates dual living areas, dual balconies, a private outdoor entertaining area and the amazing views the location has to offer.

Delivering a design that ticked every box while also being practical and liveable wasn’t easy, but DB Design pulled it off. This highly compact design makes clever use of a hidden semi-basement to squeeze as many luxurious features as possible into the available space. The secluded outdoor entertaining area features a large spa for enjoying relaxing outdoor soaks in complete privacy, while the living areas and master suite on the upper levels enjoy uninterrupted coastal views. Modern fixtures throughout complete the luxurious package.
