BRILLIANT DESIGN

The clients requested a relaxed, low impact home that captures the natural light and harmonises the inside with the outside. The large windows and sliding doors help bring the outdoors in, with beautiful green imagery always in view. The use of natural timbers, stonework and a soft pallet of neutral, natural colours nestles this home into its surroundings.

James Hardi Linea weatherboard and COLORBOND were used on the exterior of the house, giving an Australian feel to the facade whilst ensuring durability. Freeform random stone wall clads parts of the house both internally and externally, creating a natural, eye-catching feature and adds to the flow of the property.

The large open interior space features high ceilings with exposed timber beams, bring an airiness to the home in conjunction with an old-style feeling. The large deck area that wraps around the living spaces creates easy access for entertainment and plenty of room to do so, whilst generous north facing glazing promotes sunlight, creating the sense of warmth and relaxation.
