Darling Builders took on the task of designing and constructing a home just as beautiful as the nature surrounding it and the result is nothing short of breathtaking. Hopetoun House is built to accommodate the three generational family that calls it home, with the house being masterfully designed to grow with them while still reflecting the tranquility of the nature that surrounds it. From its grand front façade right on down to the outbuilding nestled among the gum trees, the house flows with the contours of the land to result in a uniquely suited home.

With generous-sized windows all throughout the home, the tranquil surrounds are never far away, nor does the house do anything to interfere with the ability to appreciate those surrounds. The shou sugi ban charred timber and standing seam cladding work together to create a design that is both strikingly modern and beautifully timeless both inside and out, even more so when the lights come on at night.
