LIGHT-FILLED LUXURY 

This standout project from Cavalier Homes is defined by its striking architectural features, particularly its soaring high ceilings, dramatic raked lines and strategically placed highlight windows – allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the interior. The client’s brief called for a light, bright and luxe residence that wholly embraces its solar orientation to create an opulent yet highly functional living space. To meet this desire, the design was carefully crafted with raked ceilings, a thoughtful layout and solar-focused positioning that optimised naturally occurring light and spatial flow.

External materials such as render, COLORBOND and James Hardie lightweight cladding were selected to enhance the home’s luxurious appearance while supporting sustainability objectives. The most formidable challenge was balancing aesthetic ambition with practical design intentions. However, these were successfully overcome through innovation and precise planning. Eco-conscious elements, such as smart orientation and light-reflective cladding contribute to the home’s environmental performance, making it not only visually striking but also sustainably sound.
