Better Bathrooms & Kitchens has created another stunning transformation with this tranquil, eye-catching bathroom. This project stands out due to its meticulous integration of Calacatta Viola stone, inspired by a cherished painting in the master bedroom. It balances luxurious aesthetics with practical considerations, transforming a dated space into a sophisticated sanctuary.

Calacatta Viola stone is a leader in chic luxury. It is sourced from one of Italy’s oldest quarries in the Carrara region, which is known for producing exquisite marble. With thick, flowing veins of classic burgundy and a refined grey and white stone colour, it makes it a rare and elegant marble. In this stunning bathroom, it is featured as the bathroom vanity’s countertop and the shower shelf, which harmonises with the home’s existing aesthetic.

The company focused on key visual elements while respecting budget constraints and structural limitations imposed by immovable pipework. This approach ensured both aesthetic harmony and enhanced functionality. Focusing on the design and layout, the design optimised space by enhancing storage solutions and improving natural lighting, creating a more open and inviting atmosphere.

The project makes the most of its available space by also using neutral toned tiles, making the room look seamless and bigger. The arched shaving cabinet is a touch of elegance that gives the illusion of height, enhances lighting and optimises space by having storage inside the mirror. 600 x 600 wall tiles and 130 x 130 shower feature tiles both enhance the space with a contemporary look. Having large wall tiles means fewer grout lines, which is one of the small touches that add to the seamless aesthetic. The shower features a curved, frameless glass screen which matches with the soft feel of the bathroom and enhances the space.

Both the shower head and tapware are in a gorgeous, brushed brass finish. This makes a striking contrast and standout feature, adding warmth and balance to the room’s colour palette. Understated elegance and uniqueness perfectly captures the elements of this bathroom.
