Bright and comfortable, this kitchen from Better Bathrooms & Kitchens is designed effortlessly to encompass all functional and aesthetic desires. Kitchens serve as the main hub in many homes, providing space for entertainment and hospitality. Better Bathrooms & Kitchens recognised the need for this space to reflect the bustling movement and creativity associated with a kitchen. With a focus on structural and spatial use, the kitchen’s design is expertly crafted to maximise storage and
movement without compromising on style.

The kitchen features a long, sleek island that not only offers ample bench space for two on either side but also presents a unique design choice with an exposed column, subtly influenced by Greek aesthetics. Both the column and splashback boast bright white, kit-kat tiles, providing a stunning modern design that accentuates the uniqueness of the kitchen space and adds structural integrity to the island itself.

The expert team at Better Bathrooms & Kitchens created the illusion of a spacious room through shapes, placement and colour. The timber cabinetry beneath the island conceals the slim nature of the kitchen area effectively. By using Laminex – silver ash for the island cabinetry and shelving, the team reintroduced contrast and warmth to the room. The starkness of white walls and countertops softens with the introduction of the silver ash laminated finish. The shelving not only adds functionality but also elevates the space to one of class and sophistication.

The selected light fixtures within the kitchen help expand the space visually, making it appear much larger. Long and thin black fixtures above the island contrast with the stark white colour and elongated design. The eyes are drawn to the timber shelving, adorned with the same warm white lighting.

To enhance the space, Better Bathrooms & Kitchens added a wine rack beside the pantry, transforming the kitchen into an inviting entertainment area for friends and family.

Flowing seamlessly from the kitchen is the renovated laundry, maintaining the same design choices for a cohesive transition between the rooms. Longer laminated shelving, illuminated by LED light strips, white cabinetry and countertops, elevate the laundry to a new and improved look. The sleek design of the cabinetry adds an atmosphere of elegance. The pendant lights complement the brightness of the colours within the space, making the enclosed room feel more spacious and airier. Not only functional and essential, the layout also provides extra bench space, shelving and cabinetry for appliances and storage.
