HERTIAGE BUILDING RESTORATION: BEAUTY FOR YEARS TO COME

The team at Naked Construction Co took this heritage fronted TV Store and turned it into a spacious town house in the heart of Fitzroy North. A double storey extension was added onto the building to allow for more space and a rooftop terrace area. The warm tone of the oak floors and stairs upon entering the building gives it a welcoming and inviting atmosphere that continues into the adjoining kitchen and living area. The kitchen features polished oak joinery and rosey Quartzite stone benchtops, found all the throughout the house.

On the second floor, the walls are lined with cupboards to create extra storage space in an otherwise tight town house. This floor features the master bedroom and ensuite, with floor to ceiling cabinetry and tiles in Japanese mosaic. Another bedroom, bathroom and study are decorated with neutral colours and lots of light with high line windows and raked ceilings.

Finally a third floor completes the townhouse with a roof-top mounted spotted-gum deck and powder coated balustrade, enabling unparalleled views of the Melbourne skyline
