From reinstating the 3.4 metre ceilings, to carefully replicating the original cornices and lacework, the details of this home have been carefully curated to combine the best of its heritage with a more modern look and feel. Whereas the original home felt dark and cramped, with a closed-in floorplan, the renovation maintains the character and charm of the original while opening the floorplan up and allowing for a contemporary, open-plan living space.

With the fine details, right down to the window latches being carefully matched to the era and feel of the home, this restoration project focuses on getting it right. From restructuring any supports that were no longer serving their purpose to matching in with the older details of the house, this home is restoration perfected
