Architecturally designed with an eye for detail and a quaint, historic charm, this beautiful project came to fruition at the hands of Briody Constructions and its collaborator, Elridge Anderson Architects. Seamlessly designed to meet the homeowner’s lifestyle, the expert team made the most of the existing space and elevated it, thoughtfully choosing neutral-toned and light, textured materials to suit the coastal setting.

Tasked with maintaining the home’s original footprint and rejuvenating it into a fresh, inviting and functional family space, the team made the most of the natural light, opening the space to the outdoors, garden and living areas. Briody Constructions worked closely and transparently alongside the homeowner throughout the entire process, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and preferences. By reconfiguring the layout and increasing room sizes, the team created a timeless abode that is simply awe-inspiring and ideal for the growing family.

By removing the diving walls, the kitchen, dining and living areas are all effortlessly connected, providing the perfect intimate, entertainer’s space. New double-glazed windows bathe the home in natural light, whilst soothing, minimalistic tones evoke a sense of calm and serenity. A cosy deck invites indoor-outdoor living, with this small integration making the home feel larger.
