FARMHOUSE LIVING

Nestled within a breathtaking three-acre property in Tynong North, this American Farmhouse-inspired design by RAW Building Group withstands the test of time. Featuring board and batten cladding, cathedral ceilings and breaths of angelic, natural light, it simply leaves every passerby in awe.

A growing family, the homeowners wanted to expand and modernise the existing farmhouse, aspiring to include open living, highlight windows, and clean lines with thoughtful touches of rustic elements – and RAW Building Group achieved just that. Completed in two parts, the team first started with the extension which consisted of a garage, living room, study, bedroom, bathroom, walk in robe and outdoor kitchen. The second stage consisted of demolishing the existing house and building a large living area with a cosy fireplace, alongside an entry and laundry. To make the most of the available space, the innovative team incorporated a large attic within the pitched roof, creating a perfect multi-functional room.

Adhering to sustainability, the farmhouse includes solar panels and a water tank, with the company also recycling the timber from the existing house to create unique and custom vanities, adding a personalised touch to the new perfect, family home.
