Greenstar Technologies Project 4

Greenstar Technologies offers an impressive range of smart home solutions, making every day effortless, from the pool to the home cinema. This project stands out by showcasing how smart technology can transform a rural setting into a resort-style living experience. Located on the Mornington Peninsula, the property integrates smart services for comfort, lighting, safety, security and entertainment, eliminating the need to leave home for luxuries. The client’s brief was to create an electronic interior design that seamlessly adapted spaces, controlled comfort, lighting and managed intercom systems. Greenstar Technologies was tasked with ensuring that all services worked efficiently across the expansive property, especially challenging in outdoor areas.

The design emphasised functionality, integrating services into one user interface for seamless control of lighting, blinds, security, intercom and entertainment. The world-renowned Control4 system was used to link all services, with touchscreens, smart light switches and smartphone apps offering convenience. Entertainment areas were fitted with TV reveals, flush music systems and concealed cinema technologies, blending technology with décor. The result is a holistic design that makes the most of the available space, allowing each area to be adaptive and personalised to the client’s needs.
