Passionate about the conversion of old to new, Harrods Building completed this impressive renovation that elegantly showcases its skills and building expertise.

The homeowner wanted a fresh and seamless finish, with earthy tones and natural textures. The objective was to create a comforting modern aesthetic while maximising the existing space, which was achieved by moving walls, removing windows and adding gorgeous skylights. The laundry was moved to the ground floor so that the master en suite could be made larger and a walk-in wardrobe could be added to the master bedroom. The kitchen too was made to feel more open by removing a supporting post and installing impressively large windows.

Working with an abundance of space, Harrods Building team designed and created a home that boasts classic elegance and expertly stylised features. The stunning brickwork gives the house a warm and welcoming feel that is particularly noteworthy on the alluring brick arched doorway in the main room of the home.

All new windows are double-glazed to improve heating and reduce the homes negative impact on the environment. Additional sliding stacker doors throughout feature double-glazed glass panels, and the addition of a large deck out the back creates a fabulous outdoor area in which to entertain and relax.

New timber framing, lintels, and steel elements were expertly installed by the experienced team at Harrods Building to improve the liveability of this modern home.
