Grand Oak timber flooring is synonymous with quality innovation and designer appeal. A new generation of designer flooring, Australian Select Timbers’ Grand Oak range will enhance any style of home.

The range of 11 different colours has been created to complement any interior design, from modern to traditional spaces.

The premium-grade European oak flooring is manufactured with the latest German machinery to produce a precision engineered floor that will stand the test of time. Grand Oak floorboards are 14.5mm thick, with a 3mm solid oak wear layer and a multi-ply core. The Grand Oak underlay is a generous 3mm thick to ensure a firm fixing to the original floor surface, perfect for concrete slab application.

Oak wood provides great strength and hardness and is resistant to insect and fungal attacks because of its high tannin content. Its wear-resistance and durability makes oak the perfect choice for high-traffic areas in the home.

Such is the strength of oak that as well as a lifetime structural warranty, the Grand Oak range also comes with a 20-year residential wear warranty

In addition to being attractive and durable, oak is a more hygienic flooring choice than carpet and is easy to clean and disinfect.

Also pictured here is Australian Select Timbers’ beautiful Barrington hardwood timber flooring range. Ranging from the traditional deep warmth of jarrah to the contemporary sophisticated look of spotted gum, the range provides a flooring solution to complete any interior design.

Harvested from Barrington Tops near Gloucester in New South Wales, the timber used in the Barrington range is harvested from managed forests where old growth forests are left free to stand. Being engineered flooring, Barrington hardwood floors save our natural resources, using a 4mm top layer process.

Barrington floorboards feature eight coats of a UV acrylic lacquer, a 4mm timber top layer and ten layers of ply for strength and stability. The timber layer top allows for up to three re-sands over the lifetime of the floor.

The floorboards come with a lifetime structural warranty, thanks to the stable construction of the highgrade multi-ply core, which allows for minimal movement when exposed to environmental changes such as moisture and heat.

The Barrington timber range is easy to install for any DIY handyperson, allowing for a ‘no mess’ and non-toxic installation.

Like the Grand Oak range, Barrington also comes with a lifetime structural warranty and a 20-year wear warranty, thanks to its market-leading anti-scratch 70 per cent gloss lacquer. The gloss magnifies the deep rich colours while also accentuating the beautiful grain of the timber.
