Some of their homes that have become very popular include the Drummond Cottage, New Haven (featured here), Miners Hut, Glenrowan (featured here) and Trentham, which can all be viewed by appointment. The Glenrowan (pictured) features a veranda which continues around the home and adds distinctive Australian country flavour to the homestead, while there are French doors off the main bedroom. The Glenrowan is available from 12.5 to 18.8 squares and includes three to four bedrooms, a separate bathroom and ensuite, kitchen, living, dining room and laundry. The 13.5 square home (option 2) includes internal fittings such as a kitchen fitout (wall, oven, cooktop, rangehood) plus electrics and plumbing and a hot water system. This stage also incorporates a bathroom fit-out, inclusive of a bath, shower, vanity and toilet, plus tap fittings, electrics and plumbing completed to connect to outside services. The New Haven, on the other hand, (also pictured) is a superb two-storey country home with balconies to the bedrooms and living area. This home can be varied in design to suit client needs and all prices include building permit fees, drawings, homeowners warranty insurance, construction insurance, fire report and five-star energy report. The homes are built using weatherboard, Colorbond or Hardiplank exterior cladding, complemented by either cypress pine or hardwood decking and steps, with a Colorbond roof. Concrete or hardwood stumps and sheet flooring are also used, while internal floorings are made from timber. Quality fittings are included within the pricing and comprehensive choice is available (with variation in price discussed). The Yarra Valley Homes team is friendly, open and willing to discuss at length all aspects of building, including BAL (bushfire attack level) regulations. It can also provide assistance with home sprinkler systems, which can be provided at own cost.
