Designed to suit the sloping block on which it is situated, this display home by Dean Homes features a split-level design that makes the most of the site and illustrates the potential sloping blocks have for innovative and attractive design. The fall of the land is approximately four metres, and the split-level design follows the contours of the site, minimising the need for excavation and retaining walls.

The Bradford 1626 features a range of luxurious products and materials, including stunning stained English walnut timber floorboards and a deluxe kitchen with 40-millimetre Caesarstone benchtops. The kitchen also boasts an Omega freestanding oven, rangehood and dishwasher and Methven Medea tapware.

With a solar hot water service, waterwise plumbing fixtures and north-facing orientation to maximise the intake of natural light, the home is as energy-efficient as it is visually striking.

Dean Homes specialises in designing and building homes that suit the fall of each client’s property, ensuring each home is tailored to clients’ individual needs. The team offers clients the option of modifying an existing Dean Homes design, or to develop a custom-designed home. Green living is a priority of the company, and various energy-efficient measures are factored into each Dean Homes design.

Ken Dean established Dean Homes in 1982, and the team is thrilled to be celebrating 30 years in business in 2012. Dean Homes works throughout the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The featured display home in Mernda is now open for viewing.
