The owners sought a home that would cater to their growing family. For this new concept home in Hawthorn, Lubelso, a division of Canny Group, worked with the same exterior look, smart design and luxurious elements as had been utilised in its earlier, award-winning home in Malvern. However, for this project, the team worked to design and construct the home to achieve a lower price point, meeting the demand in the market for architecturally-designed homes in the $1 million and below price range.

A striking, contemporary home, this project was developed with a cost-efficient floor plan that reduced the purchase price without compromising on the luxurious feel to deliver a well-appointed home that is of a standard synonymous with the Canny Group name.

This home offers an impressive street presence, with new finishes, fixtures and fittings that respond to current trends, combined with the same design quality of Canny Group’s earlier Malvern home. It is both family-friendly and more accessible to a larger client base because of the reduced purchase price.

Throughout the home, Lubelso has carefully arranged the spaces to provide a connected mix of private and communal living zones. Ideal for a family with growing children, everyone is able to spread themselves across the open-plan kitchen, dining and living rooms and accommodate for a number of different tasks in one open space.

Ideal for those who love to entertain, the open-plan kitchen includes Neff appliances, Blum cabinetry and a stunning island benchtop. The sleek white cabinetry creates a bold contrast to the dark benchtop, complemented by soft timber details in the furniture and accessories.
